Flora Women's Mini Marathon

Not long now to go until the Flora Women's Mini Marathon. Going since 1983, the annual 10k charity run is the largest all-female event of it's kind in the world.
The event has grown in size year on year with women of all shapes and levels of fitness taking part. Since 2007, the number of participants have exceeded 40,000 and last year a record number of 40,717 took part. Although it is not a requirement, most of those who take part use this fantastic event as an opportunity to raise money for their chosen charity and since 1983 approximately €137 million has been raised for charity.

The mini marathon will take place, as always, on June bank holiday Monday (2nd June 2014) and will start at 2pm. The start and finish line are just minutes from the Grand Canal Hotel.
