Oktoberfest (19.09.14 – 05.10.14)

Taking place in the IFSC, Oktoberfest is always a brilliant event. Last year over 120,000 people visited this unique FREE Bavarian event. Experience traditional German fun, food and entertainment with over 30 German barmaids dressed in traditional Dirndl's.

Enjoy ice-cold, fresh tapped German Erdinger “Fischer’s Hell” and “Weizenbier” (wheatbeer) or non-alcoholic wheatbeer! If you’re not a beer drinker, you will be happy to know that there will also be a German wine bar with excellent German white and red wine, longdrinks (havanna-coke, vodka-red bull) and many more! There will also be a coffee-bar (coffee, tea and hot chocolate) for you to try out. Taste some delicious German cuisine with your drinks. There will be over 30 German food stalls at the Oktoberfest.

Going back as far as 1957, Dublin Theatre Festival is an annual event that brings together artists, theatre-makers and audiences from Ireland and around the world. Dublin city, its people and its stories, is at the very heart of the festival.

Bram Stoker Festival (24.10.10 – 27.10.14)

From 24th – 27th October, Dublin City will celebrate the life, work and legacy of Dublin horror novelist Bram Stoker and his gothic novel “Dracula”. The festival incorporates a range of events from large-scale spectacles including a gothic ball, to intimate performances in unusual spaces and a whole range of film and literary events.
